FAQ--IP Public Address System
Q1. In the Audioconfig software, the IP device can be seen and the parameters are correctly configured. But in the AudioServer, the status of the IP devices cannot be seen and it cannot play the audio.
A1: Turn off the Windows Defender or other firewall and try again as shown below.
Q2. Can the IP public address system run without a server?
A2: Yes, in non-server mode, you can adjust the IP microphone to off-line mode and use the off-line manager to download the address book to the IP microphone. Then the microphone can call IP terminals or IP speakers, and it can also play music from the local audio source.
Q3. Can the firmware of the products be updated?
A3: Yes, but the IP products we ship are generally with the latest firmware. It will only be updated when the function updates.
Q4: What are the applications of the IP public address system?
A4: Campus, schools, intelligent buildings, highways, shopping malls, parks, squares, villages, large and medium-sized factories and enterprises, etc.
Q5. What music formats do our IP public address system support?
A5: MP3 only. Other audio formats must be converted to MP3 first.
Q6: Cannot find the IP Audio Router (audio source collector) in the AudioPlayer
A6: Need to add an IP routing device in the AudioPlatform by following the configuration wizard.
Q7: IP system software is not available.
A7: Software needs to be first registered with our registration code, including both demo and permanent versions.
Q8: Can the IP software provide an open port for integration with third-party system?
A8: We can provide you with an API secondary development kit.
9. Can the IP public address system be used on the Internet?
A9: Yes, but it needs to be used with our Internet software. And the server needs to have a fixed Internet IP. You may rent a 3rd party cloud server like Alibaba Cloud to work as the IP server.
Q10. Is there a limit on the number of the IP software clients?
A10: If you log in as admin, you can log in to the clients on any computer in the network.
Q11. Can an IP software be used by multiple computers?
A11: Our company's IP software requires a registration code to use, so it can only be used by one computer as a server whereas the number of client is not limited.
Q12. When the IP microphone is working on broadcast or intercom, the audio source from local input is not played on the corresponding terminal.
A12: In the microphone broadcast or intercom mode, press the menu button to select line input or microphone input.
Q13. What is the max number of IP devices use in one system?
A13: There is no limitation, as long as your network supports
